The recycling of PET bottles into polyester staple fibre (PSF) is an innovative mechanical process that employs a specialized fibre grade pet bottle washing recycling line. This advanced system efficiently converts discarded plastics into valuable PSF fibers through a series of meticulous steps, including sorting, cleaning, melting, and spinning.
Our fibre grade pet bottle washing line is expertly engineered to transform used PET bottles into high-purity flakes, ideal for spinning into polyester fibers. This state-of-the-art cleaning system ensures that the resultant flakes meet the stringent quality requirements necessary for fiber production.
The fibre grade pet bottle recycling machine boasts several essential features, such as centralized hot washing and high-speed friction cleaning, which significantly minimize PVC and label residues. Additionally, the line is equipped with high-automation PLC control and offers processing capacities ranging from 500 to 6,000 kilograms per hour, ensuring a continuous and low-moisture output, with moisture content maintained below 1%.
Centralized Hot Washing and High-Speed Friction Cleaning
The centralized hot washing and high-speed friction cleaning processes within the fibre grade PET recycling machine are vital for achieving high-purity, low-impurity flakes suitable for polyester fiber production. The hot washing phase (85–95°C) utilizes caustic soda to effectively dissolve label adhesives, grease, and oils. Concurrently, high-speed friction washers mechanically remove surface contaminants, eliminate remaining label residues, and neutralize any residual alkali, ensuring the production of clean, high-quality output.
High-Automation PLC Control
Equipped with advanced high-automation PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, our PET bottle to polyester fibre machines offer centralized management, real-time monitoring, and enhanced operational efficiency for continuous 24/7 work cycles. Key functionalities include automated process control, precise parameter regulation (temperature and chemical concentration), predictive maintenance notifications, and seamless integration of sorting and washing components, all contributing to the production of high-purity flakes with impurities below 100 ppm.
