Cutting & Size Reduction
• Above pet granulating machines employ a fast-spinning rotor mounted with multiple angled knives that cut material against stationary bed knives with a precise scissor-like action.
• A screen with specific hole sizes is located beneath the cutting chamber,ensuring that only material reduced to the desired flake size can exit.Typical PET flake sizes range from 8mm to 14mm.
• The defining feature of a pet granulating machine is its ability to produce consistently sized and shaped flakes,which is crucial for the quality of the final rPET.
Wet Granulation System
• A wet granulator uses an added waterline to continuously spray water into the cutting chamber.This partially cleans the PET flakes and acts as a lubricant,lowering friction and heat within the cutting chamber.
• By adding water to the cutting chamber,the frequency of knife sharpening can be decreased by two to three times.
Pelletizing / Granulation Process
• A pet plastic granulator converts pet raw materials into high-purity,low-water-content recycled particles through melt extrusion,water-cooled stranding,cutting,and granulation,suitable for downstream fields such as chemical fiber,packaging,and sheets.
• The pet granulator machine supports flexible die head options for pelletizing,such as water ring cutting,underwater cutting,and hot face cutting.
Filtration & Drying
• The pet pellets maker is equipped with a multi-stage filtration water circulation system to reduce impurity pollution; integrated centrifugal dehydration and hot air drying modules reduce the moisture content of particles (usually below 0.02%),meeting food-grade recycling requirements.
• The pet reprocessing equipment includes a stable drying system,strong vacuum degassing system,efficient filtration system,strand cutting system,and viscosity equipment,all ensuring high-quality final PET pellets.
Screw & Feeding System
• The pet granulator line system allows free assembling of the screw component based on raw material type,and a high-efficiency force feeder ensures stable high-capacity material feeding with low power consumption.The main screw also has vacuum exhaustion.
Automation & Control
• Intelligent control via PLC or IoT technology enables real-time monitoring of temperature,water pressure,cutting speed,and other parameters.
