Bale Breaking & Sorting:The process begins by breaking compacted bales of bottles and removing contaminants like metal,non-PET plastics,and heavily soiled items.

Shredding/Crushing:The bottles are crushed into uniform,small flakes (often 10–15mm) to facilitate cleaning.
Hot Washing & Chemical Treatment:A critical stage using 85-95°C water and cleaning agents like caustic soda to dissolve labels,glue,oil, and residual liquid residues.
Friction Washing & Rinsing:High-speed friction washer uses water and friction to remove fine dirt and residue from the PET flakes.
Sink-Float Separation:A density separation tank separates the heavier PET flakes (which sink) from lighter PP/PE caps,labels,and other impurities (which float).
Drying & Dehydration:Centrifugal dewatering machine and hot air dryer reduce moisture content to under 1%,ensuring the flakes are dry for further processing.
Dust Removal & Final Packaging:Air separator removes fine dust before the final,clean flakes are packed for use in producing PET sheets,polyester staple fiber,or granules for new bottles.
